Utah Roads44 at 191 to Manila 28 miles
44 travels though Red Canyon and Flaming Gorge Recreation Area. This road is another for most amazing scenery. The road is super twisty and pretty tight at times. It curves up and down and spirals through the canyons and in the distance is the most amazing view, nothing like I've ever seen before. Since it's a tourist destination, there is some traffic on this road, but not all that much to my surprise. Most of the tourists stay on 191 North, so by the time you turn off and take 44 there is less traffic than there was on 191. This place is kind of out of the way near Wyoming, but the scenery is just out of this world, the most unique scenery on this whole trip is here, and the road is also great. It's worth it. Visited 8/04.
