Colorado Roads92 Hochkiss to Sapinero 55miles
South of Crawford this road gets extremely curvy as it follows the Black Canyon of the Gunnison along the north side of the Gunnison River. Must check out the Dam at the end of 92 and the Blue Mesa Reservoir on 50 heading towards Gunnison. Not a lot of traffic, awesome twisties and views. Parts of this road towards Gunnison remind me of Cherahala Skyway in NC. This is my second favorite road in Colorado. Visited 8/04.
