Colorado Roads145 Placerville to Dolores 75 miles
145 travels though Lizard Head Pass at 10,222ft; 4.1% grade. Views are almost as good as on 550 and this road has a lot of great twisties. There is some traffic on this road but not as bad as on 550. Check out Telluride, it's a very cute ski town with a lot of nice restaurants. I think this is a must ride road with great twisties, splendid views and unfortunately a bit of traffic. Visited 8/04.
